Summer Music Festival 2010
If you’re a middle school, high school, or brand new drummer, join The Spartans for our percussion clinic & drum circle and learn from some of the best local percussion teachers in New England.
The event costs $10 and includes a free pair of Vic Firth drumsticks. At the beginning of our music festival Saturday night, clinic students will take the field at Stellos Stadium with and entertain the crowd.
$10 registration fee will be collected at the event.
Colorguard Clinic
The Spartans Colorguard staff will also be hosting a dance/spin clinic. All young colorguard performers and dancers are invited to join us and learn from some of the best field-performance instructors in New England. Registration costs $10 and includes dance, equipment handling and an opportunity to perform for the audience at our night time event.
Following these two events the Muchachos from Manchester, NH and Mass Brass will perform in concert. To conclude the evening, the Spartans will present an on-field clinic, demonstrating how we put our show together. After the clinic, the corps will put on their uniforms and present their full 2010 show, FIRE DANCES, for their family and friends.
Admission to the show at night is free, however, donations will be accepted at the gate to help the corps travel to DCI World Championships in Indianapolis. Clinic participation costs $10 per student.
The concession stand will be open and everyone will have a great time as the Spartans welcome their fans, family and alumni to a night of music and memories and the beginning of the 2010 competitive season.
