The Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps of Nashua, NH will be presenting their 2010 show titled “Fire Dances” featuring the music of Robert Smith and Key Poulan.
The Corps’ repertoire will include the “Inferno” by Robert Smith and then head into the powerful “Inferno Di Dante” by Key Poulan. Musical selections will be filled with the Corps’ dark sound and exciting visual elements.
“The Inferno” by Robert Smith has historical significance for the Spartans (performed by the corps in 2003) and was brought into the design process as a return to the tradition of the Corps’ past. “Inferno Di Dante” is powerful and fast moving, symbolizing exactly where the Corps intends to go upon entering the upcoming competitive season.
The Spartans will be lead on the field by Drum Major Jamie Fortier. Corps Director Richard Rigolini states, “The goals for the 2010 corps are to re-establish the brilliance and excellence that is The Spartans and to welcome a new group of young people into the tradition of Respect, Responsibility and Commitment.”

I am so glad to hear you are taking the reins again for the Spartans, I met you once I was a member of the Spartans fron 1962 to 1970 Was just about part of the Laflamme family Paul and I are Best Buddies. I am now living in Las Vegas wish they had a Corps out here I was working with someone thats trying but he ia a disaster, I had to leave.
