The corps will be hosting a number of open practice events for participation in the 2013 season. Our first two events are Sunday November 18th and Sunday December 2nd.
On Sunday, November 18th we welcome Brass, Percussion and Guard to attend from 10AM to 2PM. Parents and family are also welcome to learn more about the corps.
On Sunday December 2nd we welcome Brass and Percussion ONLY from 10AM to 2PM! Guard members will be attending one more winter event at our January Camp. (More information about the January Camp will be posted on the web site in December.)
* If you are a horn player we ask that you please bring your own instrument and especially your own mouthpiece. We will have our horns available… but if you want to be guaranteed a chance to play all day… bring your own instrument.
* For percussionists.. if you have your own drum bring it.. if not we do have our equipment available.. but again.. if you want to play all day.. you may want to have your drum with you. For front ensemble members we will have a full front ensemble set up and ready to go for you.
*Guard members are asked to come prepared for a day of dance and equipment. If you have your own rifle or saber .. bring it!
All of our early winter practice sessions are open to new and returning members.
There is no cost to attend the open house. However, if you would like to become a member, you are encouraged to pay our $50 registration fee. By doing so, you will be a member in good standing of the Spartans! You will then have the ability to take home our very first fundraiser and start earning money towards your tuition immediately!
New members, from out of state or who have a far distance to travel, are reminded to contact the corps at info@spartansdbc.org. We will set up your audition process with you via email.
All practice sessions are at the Nashua Boys and Girls Club on Grand Ave in Nashua NH. A complete look at our winter schedule can be found under the SCHEDULE tab on the corps web site.
We look forward to seeing you soon!!!
